Case Manager for Homeless Families
HAPHousing™ is seeking a Housing Specialist to provide re-housing and/or stabilization services to homeless families. Responsibilities include assessment, triage, housing search and case management. This position will primarily focus on stabilization services such as tenancy preservation, financial education and making referrals for additional services. Strong candidates will have related experience with homeless families and housing programs; excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and computer skills; knowledge of local community and service provider network; and a reliable car. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Wage range $14.58 - $17.49/hr. depending on education and experience. Rental Assistance Housing Counselor
HAPHousing™ is seeking a Housing Counselor to work with clients eligible for rental assistance. Duties include determining eligibility, explaining and clarifying program requirements, and data entry. Requirements include: highly organized and detail oriented, committed to teamwork and customer service, excellent communication, housing and/or social service experience preferred and computer skills. Manager of Transitional Living
HAPHousing™ is searching for a Program Manager of Transitional Living. The Manager is responsible for the successful administration and supervision of HAPHousing’s Transitional Living programs that maximize the self sufficiency of homeless families who are victims of domestic violence and/or are pregnant or parenting young mothers currently residing in transitional housing. The Manager will oversee and direct the successful placement of families into permanent housing through effective safety planning, housing focused assessment, case management, supportive services and stabilization. Experience in property management, landlord relations and maintenance a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and be motivated to work with program staff, management and other HAPHousing departments such as Fund development to develop new programming and resources. Experience in developing and facilitating staff trainings a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject matter such as social services or public administration required; minimum of 3 years experience in domestic violence, housing or social services case management; minimum 3 years management experience in a related field. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Salary between $44,500 - $55,700 depending on education and experience plus excellent benefits. Resumes accepted until position is filled. Housing Counselor (HCEC)
HAPHousing™ is searching for a Housing Counselor in our Housing Consumer Education Center that provides education, housing search, financial assistance, information and referral, and other services for at-risk of homeless families, tenants, and landlords. Responsibilities include assessment, triage, education, housing search, referral, problem solving, and case management. Strong candidates will have related experience with target population, knowledge of social service and housing programs, excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and computer skills, and reliable transportation.
