Commonwealth Corps
HAPHousing is seeking two full-time Commonwealth Corps members to serve in a program that helps clients gain skills and knowledge to improve their employability.  Responsibilities include reviewing and critiquing resumes, designing and carrying out workshops, helping clients to establish clear job search objectives, and recruiting volunteers. Homeownership Manager
HAPHousing is seeking an experienced Manager for our Homeownership Department.  Under the supervision of the Director of Homeownership, the Manager will be responsible for the coordination of partner agencies, to ensure contract performance, compliance, reporting, and program evaluation for the Western MA Foreclosure Prevention Center (WMFPC).  The Manager will maintain accurate records, produce timely written and verbal reports and monitor partner agencies progress.  In addition to work relating to the WMFPC the Manager will work collaboratively and effectively as an inter-departmental team member coordinating Financial Education across departments within HAP.  The Manager will be responsible for collaborating, organizing and executing outreach to local government, lending institutions, non-profit and community agencies, and the public to provide information and technical assistance regarding homeownership programs and program requirements and qualifications.  The ideal candidate will have foreclosure and/or mortgage lending experience.  Candidate must have demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.  Must have a willingness to work a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends.  This position requires excellent written and verbal communication.  Bilingual a plus.  Wage between $41,700 - $52,000 depending on education and experience.  Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to HR@haphousing.org or Human Resources, 322 Main Street, Springfield, MA  01105.
