Financing, Counseling and Workshops
HAPHousing provides several programs that help homeowners keep and manage their homes, or modify them to accommodate family members with special needs. Our services are free of charge or, as in the case of some educational workshops, may have a nominal fee. Participation in some of HAPHousing's programs may also offer the opportunity for specialized funding to those who qualify.
Our programs include:
- Free foreclosure prevention assistance
- Low-cost financing to address lead-based paint hazards (Get the Lead Out program)
- Loans to modify loans for family members with disabilities
- Rental property management workshops

Pioneer Valley Planning Commission announces the Home MPG initiative. Homeowners in Belchertown, East Longmeadow, Hampden, Longmeadow, Monson, Palmer, Springfield and Wilbraham can now take advantage of convenient new tools for measuring and understanding energy usage in their homes, generouse financial incentives, resources and recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
