HAPHOUSING IS NOW WAY FINDERS
A passionate advocate dedicated to empowering low-income communities, Marikler brings over thirteen years of experience in international development to her role as Community Building and Engagement Manager. In this position, she coordinates Way Finders’ outreach and community building efforts in the city of Holyoke, serving clients and residents through different programs, including the Resident Leadership Program.
Prior to her work with Way Finders, Marikler worked with Heifer International in Guatemala and Massachusetts in various roles, which gave her the opportunity to learn more about hunger and poverty and to work in very low-income communities around the globe.
Marikler holds a Bachelors degree in International Nonprofit Administration from UMass Amherst and a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy from Bay Path University. Marikler loves nature, being a mother, reading, poetry, art, and enjoying her New York Times-featured permaculture forest garden.
