Way Finders Hosts Find Your Way Home - Meet the Lenders

Springfield, MA—Way Finders, formerly HAPHousing, hosted 14 of the area’s local lenders for a Meet the Lenders community event on Thursday, June 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, 800 Hall of Fame Avenue. This event is designed with homebuyers in mind and open to the public. Meet the Lenders gives western Massachusetts homebuyers the opportunity to speak one-on-one with participating lenders about their financing needs.

Participating lenders include: Berkshire Bank, Citizens Bank, Country Bank, Easthampton Savings Bank, Farmington Bank, Florence Bank, Freedom Credit Union, Key Bank, Peoples Bank, People’s United Bank, Santander Bank, TD Bank, United Bank, and Webster Bank. Massachusetts Housing Partnership and MassHousing will also have representatives to provide information and discuss how homebuyers can access their products.

“Way Finders has always been a strong provider of homeownership resources in western Massachusetts. In 2016 alone, 1,244 individuals were served through our Orientation, Financial Education, First Time Homebuyers, and Rental Property Owners workshops. We continue to support our workshop participants even after graduation. Meet the Lenders will give homebuyers the opportunity to speak with each lender and learn about all the options they have when looking to finance their dream home,” said Gina Govoni, Senior Vice President of Homeownership and Financial Education.
